reflect | innovate | transform

Education is reflection, innovation, and transformation in one word: learning from mistakes, questioning what is taken for granted, forging ideas and putting them into practice, taking responsibility.

INTRO

I base the seminars, lectures, workshops, and conferences I organize on this philosophy of education. I try to bring people with their diverse perspectives, experiences, and questions into a conversation with each other, with historical and contemporary texts and with the phenomenon under discussion.

My didactic toolbox is accordingly versatile: be it a classical primary text analysis, visualization work with digital media, case studies, student research projects, vlogcasts in asynchronous teaching, expert interviews, or excursions in cooperation with practice partners – all of this in individual work or small groups. My focus is on the topic-oriented strengthening of the self-reflected transformational capabilities of the learners. Education is not limited to the classroom, however.

I try to shape processes of institutionalization and organizational development in such a way that they are also processes of education for all involved.
